Awestruct Twitter handle

mojavelinux
This may seem trivial to some, but I have a good feeling about it, so bare with me.

I think we should change the Twitter handle for Awestruct from @awestructed to @ruawestruct. For one, @awestructed is sort of strange to say. More important, @ruawestruct echos the tag line, so it fits.

We could find a variation that reads more clearly, such as r_u_awestruct or ru_awestruct. I'd been fine with either.

Btw, changing the handle doesn't affect your followers. They can migrated transparently.

wdyt? Any other ideas?

Which of the three options do you like?

- ruawestruct
- r_u_awestruct
_ru_awestruct

?

I don't like ruawestruct, it bleeds together and is hard to see what you're trying to say. I'd go for either _ru_awestruct or ru_awestruct, but isn't ru the abbreviation for Russia?

I prefer the older name then. Not sure foreigners would understand your word play.

Let's go with r_u_awestruct. That way, people will pause between letters and will realize it's phonetics.

Does that help any Emmanuel? At least those who speak English (I would think anyway) will see an r and a u, and it sounds like "are you".

Well, awestructed makes no sense on a number of levels, so there's no way that's a better option.

I don't like any of the ru* options at all.

I'd prefer status quo fwiw.

In my case it did not help, I failed to make that connection when I saw the proposed alternatives.

I also failed to understand ru* and r_u_*.

Anyone tried asking the guy who owns the twitter handle awestruct and clearly doesn't use it to give it up?
